Whether you love him or hate him, the president of the United States of America, Donald Trump is certainly well aware of the internet’s meme culture. Earlier this weekend, Donald Trump shared a deep-fake video of ‘Independence Day’, a classic 1996 film, the scene in which Bill Pullman gave his speech in front of the fighter pilots before going into war with the alien invaders.

Trump shared this meme on his Twitter handle, with his face superimposed over that of Bill’s, which is in reference to the recent pandemic due to the corona virus and the nationwide lockdown in the United States of America. This video was seen more than fifteen million times and liked by hundreds of thousands of people.

Well, not all were happy about the video, and even the Independence Day actor, Bill Pullman wasn’t happy about this video featuring himself giving the speech. According to the report of Deadline, the actor was not happy at all with the video. President Donald Trump is now slammed by Bill Pullman for sharing deep fake Independence Day video.

In a statement given to the outlet, Deadline, the actor wrote that his voice belongs to none but only himself, and he is not interested in being the president anytime soon. As fans of the original 1996 film know, Bill, portrayed the president of the United States, Thomas J. Whitmore, a former fighter pilot.

The speech in the film was given by the actor before heading off into the battle against the alien invaders, which was the last attempt to save human civilization and was done to encourage the other pilots. The fake video shared by Trump also features cameo appearances from other Republicans, including Ted Cruz, among others.

It is known to one and all that the United States has been under a full-scale lockdown since the month of March of this year. Americans have been behind their doors for months and for the first time ever, avoided working in exchange for government stimulus checks.

The country is currently re-opening slowly, despite the arguments of the health professionals. Trump and other members of his administration have insinuated that the repercussions of continued quarantine, including the economic effects seen around the world, far out-weigh the further spread of COVID-19.

Many financial experts have argued over the same point. Many leading financial experts and business professionals stated that the recent stock market is the most overvalued since the Dot Com bubble of the early 2000s.
