The mystery remains unsolved as NASA addresses an unexplained space station hole
On this Wednesday NASA compresses down report that sabotage caused a tiny hole in the Russian Module docked at the International Space Station, which was found in the last month and the mystery still remained unsolved. Dimitri Rogozin the general director of Russian space agency Roscosmos made a public comment in this week which shut out the reason of manufacturing defect.
On the basis of Rogozin’s NASA made a remarked, that the hole was not created intentionally or with any motives. NASA highlights that rather than giving greater creditability to this blaming game, the most important aim must be to correct the manufacturing defect. NASA said that this issue is completely separate which won’t affect the future research. Roscosmos and NASA started an investigation of 2 millimeter- wide hole which is detected in the last days of August on the outside wall of a Russian Soyuz capsule docked to space station states that as per the ground operated report there is a minor dip in the pressure level. To halt the oxygen leak, the puncture has been patched with the tape and sealant. As per the information the current crews are three U.S., two Russian and one German astronaut.
NASA spokeswoman Megna Powers said to the media reporters that no one, as well as NASA, is saying that this is done intentionally. She exclaimed if you talk about the intentional damage which remains one of the numerous possibilities that still under review. She also said that the reason behind this hole can be explained after completing the full investigation.
NASA informs that there was a timid plan for a spacewalk in November to gather more information. It was decided that another astronaut and cosmonaut was due to join the space station crew in this month. They condemned for launch aboard a Russian Soyuz MS-10 spacecraft on October 11th from Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan.
According to the new administrator of NASA, Jim Bridenstine it is scheduled to attend the launch and it will meet Rogozin for the first time.
