In The Honor of Winning The MTV Icon Generation, The Rock Shares Clip Of 2001 Interview With ‘Absurdly Waxed Eyebrows’
In the last week, it was declared Dwayne Johnson aka The Rock will be awarded the Icon Generation Award during the 2019 MTV Movie & TV Awards. In honor of this event, he shared an exhilarating update on his Instagram account with a throwback video which is humorous as well as inspirational. This ceremony will be taking place today during the 2019 MTV Movie & TV Awards.
In tribute to this event, Dwayne has shared his interview at MTV in 2001. In this video, the 29 years old wrestler had discussed what he expected to get throughout his Hollywood career. He mentioned that acting has been a ‘long-term-goal’ for him.
Dwayne said in his post that this award means a lot to him. Though his works earned huge box office, but to his blessings that he received matters a lot. He is satisfied that his work created a good and positive impact. On the other hand, he mentioned that they are all set to rock the house and the mana which will flow in the Saturday night in MTV Generation Award.
The Rock Shares throwback Video in which he pointed out the overly waxed eyebrows in the whole post. However, he made a comedic approach towards the 2001 interview that he shared. However, the words and messages in the video were deep.
Dwayne has shared the touching video where he explained about starting his career in Hollywood which wasn’t a place for him. He was mixed race and was not fit for the Hollywood stereotypical style. He never tried to be something that he wasn’t in order to make his career in the industry. Moreover, he decided to be himself.
Dwayne mentioned that the one who knows him well knows that he is always after making goals. He said that he doesn’t mind making mistakes because this will help him to learn more.
There was no issue regarding Dwayne has set some high goals and he achieved that. When he made his entry through WWF his main intention is to become the finest in the industry. However, his main goal was to become a successful actor.
