Such a unique idea of making a fusion of these genres came from the mastermind of Danny G. Thus he formed a progressive salsa group in 2013, named MALO MALO. They have come up with their latest five-track EP, named ‘Mi Ritmo’. Each of the tracks is enriched with different essences from Latin House, Salsa, Deep House, Disco Funk, Detroit House, Soul, RnB, Latin-Jazz, Global Bass and Dancehall music. Organic influences of piano, drums, percussion, horns, and bass hit hard while the digital grove keeps things perfectly balanced.
Versatile artist Danny G Felix is a pianist, music composer and a trumpeter as well. He has worked with many talented artists like Tirso Duarte, Gregory Porter, Mayito Rivera, Mike Nock and last but not the least the Orquesta Calibre from California. This Australia born Colombia based music artist is making some significant progress through the industry with his prolific musicianship. OYOBI Producer Vincent Sebastian, Rosario, and Nicole Tania have amped up the mood of the latest EP ‘Mi Ritmo’ with some awesome deep house remixes. Such musical brisk moves have erased the gap between traditional Latin jazz and new age techno music to make a perfect fusion.
