LCS Declares The Summer Split Changes And That The League Of Legends Won’t Be Running A Six-Man Roaster

As per the latest news shared by Dignitas jungler Akaadian last night, the League of Legends team shall be hosting a week-long tryout amongst all the players who have been signed to the organization heading into the Summer Split. According to Akaadian, this decision has been made to see which all players are best suited for Dignitas’ LCS roaster and who all shall be sent to the Academy team.

Therefore it isn’t confirmed that whether or not the newly acquired jungler Dardoch will be starting in the LCS or not. It seems that he has to earn his spot just like every other player in the organization.

This tryout will consist of all the players who shall be competing with each other in scrims for one week. And, afterwards, the coaching staff shall make a decision on which five players have performed well enough to play on Dignitas’ main team. Akaadian Said That Dignitas Won’t Be Running A 6-man Roster For The 2020 LCS Summer Split. This seems to be a fair way for each player tom prove their worth and show that they truly belong or not. Furthermore, Akaadian has also compared this process to what had happened on his former team, TSM, where he had split scrim and the stage time with another jungler. But on Dignitas, there shall be no problem or confusion. One player will be on the LCS team and the other one will start in Academy.

As it happened, in the past, that the 23-year-old jungler had joined Dignitas at the end of 2019 after having a rocky period with TSM. He had constantly switched out of the main lineup with Grig, which had caused the team to struggle to build a meaningful synergy with both the players.

With the latest change involved, Dardoch has now been on five different teams over the last three years. And, during his most recent stint with TSM, he had thirty-three kills, a hundred and fifteen assists, and the seventh most deaths in the LCS.

Added to this the team was most inconsistent during the Spring Split. They even lost a few matches against below 0.500 teams but were also the only roaster to beat Cloud9. As it happened, that TSM finished in fifth place in the regular season and they eventually lost to FlyQuest in the second round of the playoff losers bracket.

Dardoch is now preparing to join a team that would feature veteran talents like Aphromoo and Froggen, and also a young, hungry ADC in Johnsun. However, the only hole that Digitas management needs to fill in the top lane since the team had earlier that they would allow former star Huni to explore various other opportunities in April.

Although Dardoch did not have the greatest split as it goes be was a reliable jungle, and given that it was quite surprising to see TSM deciding to replace him after just one split. It’s also quite surprising to see that TSM keeps replacing its members after just one split. With such a progress graph it is most unlikely to get to see TSM participating at the International Tournaments since the other teams keep their members and also develop them instead of just throwing them out after one single split.

Moreover, it’s interesting to see how TSM will fare after all this drama in LCS’s Summer Split, considering the amount of hatred they are going to receive from the community. With the split only a month away from now, the players can get to see the kitchen of other teams as well so they must stay tuned for more information coming up in the next few days.

The 2020 LCS Summer Split however begins on June 12.
