In the game Destiny 2, most of the quests get completed based on a theme of the player by player, but there are a few exceptions. There are certain events like the various community quests and also the Guardian Games are very much meant to be taken under the wings everywhere by the guardians as they band together for a common purpose or goal. It has certainly been an aim by the Bungie when the community quest for Lie for the Felwinter was introduced by them but some questions are raised because nobody knows what will happen if there is no participation by anybody. Destiny 2 – Felwinter’s Lie Quest Is A Flop, Playerbase Doesn’t Want To Participate In Newest Community Event.

As far as backgrounds are concerned, one can start the Lie quest as they speak to Ana Bray. It is quite apparent that a bit of data from the field is required by Rasputin regarding the operations of guardians are concerned, and one of the best and safest way to do it is to watch and observe the way they are completing the events of seraph Tower. All these events should be completed by working as a community, as each of the guardians is successfully finishing the counting of a tower as a single point towards the 3,000,000 points that are needed in all for each of the locations that are three in number.

However, the progress has been very painful and it is quite slow, as in a single instance for 16 hours, the progress towards the completion has only climbed by 1% for each one of the locations. Speaking for the other two planets, this stayed at 1% which is quite cozy and nestled. The progress of the event is so very brutally slow that one of the very popular theories that cropped up and were doing the rounds is that the team of Destiny is planning on the failures of players.

So the question arises that what is giving right now? Is the dedicated fan base of Destiny 2 are getting tired of the game suddenly? This is very much unlikely, as the community has gone through a lot and has stuck through flood and fire already so that they can play the game which is so very dear to them. For this, there can be various possible explanations.

There can be one particular reason that the community has been finding it fun to grind out the Seraph Towers. This has been one of the major reasons, because the event is very tedious in the first place and things could get even more repetitive because of the repeat of the run-throughs.

Moreover, there has been a letdown of sorts for the last cooperative event that is server-wide and consists of the Guardian Games. There were grand ideals in the event but it appears that Bungie was not able to take any risk as it came down very fast on it. The rewards are very cosmetic and at the same time very lackluster and for that matter, losing or winning the event bears no real consequence.

For the first time in the event, the classes were not pitted against each other. Most of the fan base was very apathetic rather than being competitive. No stakes were involved regarding the event barring the fact that whether the armor would turn into gold, silver, and bronze.

Similarly, some of the players were not interested in the reward that was offered by the event of the Lie community. While the community step is completed, it will lead to a different quest altogether and in the end rewards are awaiting the players by the Felwinter’s Lie. The shotgun or the sniper has been returning from the original version of Destiny as a favorite of the fans and has been coming with some powerful perks.

This appears to be a great incentive for the brilliant effort that is monumental that has been put in to by the community so that the quest can be completed, but it has been thought to be otherwise by some of them.

It has been put forth in the best way in a reply by Deathscythe8619 who is a YouTube commentator. His comments have been edited for clarity.

According to him, a very sour taste has been left in the mouth by the last community event. He candidly mentioned that he has burnt out on these quests and events on D2. He also said that had the shotgun been close to that in D1, it can be said that people would have asked and praised for the gun and it would have been very good arguably. There must be a problem and calls would be made to nerf and things like that. This is the circle of life for Bungie and he wants it off right now.

So, there you go. One has to leave everything to time who will decide on the fate of the event and whether it will be ban together by the player base eventually or it is going to fail. A strong message could be through a failure to Bungie about the quantifiable enjoyment of the players regarding the state of the various events that could happen very well shortly.
