Pertaining to the current situation where the country is locked down due to the terror of Coronavirus, Reliance owner Mukesh Ambani contributes Rs 5crore as initial support to the Maharashtra Chief Minister’s relief fund. The company has been boosting its capacity to produce more than 100000 masks daily and a huge amount of other personal protective equipment such as garments and suits to meet the increased demand and also for the country’s health workers who are working day in and out to tackle the Covid-19 outbreak.

The sudden pandemic situation demands everyone to be precautious so that everyone can fight against the challenge united.

As of now, India confirms to have encountered 425 confirmed cases, with eight death cases. All over the world, the count has already reached to 349211 of people who have been infected with this deadly novel Coronavirus. China’s Wuhan was the first to report this disease with the death toll at 15308.

According to reports, RIL has made a statement in which the company has already initiated multi-pronged prevention, mitigation, and ongoing support strategy and ahs further added that the approach can be multiplied further to scale as and when required by the nation.

Reports confirm that RIL has brought in the combined strengths of Reliance Foundation, Reliance Retail, Jio Reliance, Reliance Industries, and Reliance Life Sciences along with all the 600000 members of the Reliance Family on this exclusive master plan against COVID-19 as confirmed by the oil-to-telecom business tycoon.

Reliance’s Sir H.N Reliance Foundation Hospital has come together with Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation too set up a dedicated 100-bed center at Seven Hills Hospital in Mumbai for all those patients who have been tested positive for COVID-19.

Moreover, Reliance Foundation has decided to offer free meals to people across various cities in partnership with NGOs and has also built a fully quipped isolation facility in Lodhivali, Maharashtra and has further handed it over to the district authorities.

RIL subsidiary, Reliance Life Sciences is reported to import additional test kits and consumables for effective testing processes in the country. On a recent statement, RIL said that their doctors and researchers are working overtime to find a cure to this deadly virus.

To aid the citizens and ensure that crisis doesn’t affect the country, the company further added that its retail arm which is Reliance Retail’s all 736 grocery stores across the country shall remain opened and would also ensure that there is sufficient supply of everyday essentials like fruits, bread, vegetables, cereals, and other items of daily use and that citizens must stock them up for the coming time.

The official also confirmed that the grocery stores shall remain opened for longer hours than usual which are from 7 am to 11 pm wherever it is possible.
