Russia And Ukraine: Condition Resurged And Intensified; Ukraine Asks For Help From The West
Ukraine requested the western countries for the faster deliveries of the arms and weapons to tackle the attack by the Russian counterpart. Ukraine also pleaded for humanitarian support to combat the outbreak of deadly diseases.
Russia’s focus is now on Ukraine. In the battle, Russia completely outgunned Kyiv. The war is primarily an artillery one, and Kyiv seems to be dominated by Russia altogether.
The deputy head of military intelligence of Ukraine, Vadym Skibitsky said, “This is an artillery war now. Everything now depends on what (the West) gives us. Ukraine has one artillery piece to 10 to 15 Russian artillery pieces.”
Germany is the largest weapon supplier to Ukraine since Russia invaded. The country is now being criticized for being slow. Vadym Boichenko told on the national television, “There is an outbreak of dysentery and cholera. The war which took over 20,000 residents … unfortunately, with these infection outbreaks, will claim thousands more Mariupolites.”
Boichnko called on the International Committee of the Red Cross and the United Nations to open the humanitarian corridor to recover the country from all round disturbance.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Russia is trying to destroy every town in Donbas. He said, “Sievierodonetsk, Lysychansk, Bakhmut, Sloviansk, many, many others- All these ruins were once happy towns.”
The battlefield remained cooled down until Russia attacked. The war and cholera has made the situation worst in Ukraine. Only time will tell where and how it will end.
