Ryan Seacrest, the host for the American Idol has said that some serious adjustments have to be made, but according to the talent show in ABC, it will be going off-air amidst the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic. Seacrest has made an appearance on TMZ Live from his Los Angeles home studio on Tuesday and it has been revealed by him that he has been working with some of the other producers so that something can be figured out and find out a way to continue and at the same time keeping everybody safe. American Idol Producers Are Trying To Figure Out How To Finish Out The Season Amid Coronavirus Pandemic.

Right now, the pre-recorded episodes are aired for the series which were produced when the audition process was going on in the latter half of 2019 and the early part of 2020. The Top 40 contestants have been sliced to the Top 20 in just the last weekend and on 5th April, Sunday, the second part of the ‘Hawaii Showcase and Final Judgement’ will be aired.

Right after that particular episode, the top 20 contestants will go live as the audience gets a chance to vote every week for their favorites. But a serious problem is presented with that because of the equipment and people needed for the live episodes.

Seacrest has said that the objective is to provide the audience what they are expecting from the great show of American Idol in every season. That includes fan voting, judges comments and top contestants performing live.

It was hoped in the beginning to find a way out so that the live episodes can be produced in the studios, but ultimately they went against the decision because of concerns on health and safety. Due to rules of social distancing, which says that one has to stay apart by six feet, the voice over for the show is done by Seacrest from his home studio.

It was not revealed by him on how the judges Luke Bryan, Lionel Richie, and Katy Perry will be taking part, but there are chances that it will take place the same way –that is from home. It has already been said by Seacrest that the cast and crew’s safety has to be given the highest priority, but no one wants to miss out on those moments for which the show is so popular.

Seacrest also said that he can look through the lens and feel that they need to deliver everything this season. According to him, they are considering every other option. He also mentioned that they are very hopeful to be able to accomplish the needful.

Besides working from home on American Idol, both Ryan and Live with Kelly has been hosted by Seacrest while during self-isolation along with his very own radio show.

For the moment, American’s got Talent by NBC has been still accepting the Season 15s audition this summer. Recently, a link has been tweeted by the show for the advertisements of the auditions which has told the hopefuls of AGT to show them whatever they got as they are pretty much safe at their home as social distancing is practiced by them.

The website of the show says that one can shoot a video of themselves which will showcase their talent and personality. Perhaps, someone could end up being on TV in front of the judges this summer.

Those who are submitting their auditions have been advised by America’s Got Talent that they follow the restrictions and regulations of their local government that is related to COVID-19 while preparing their materials for auditions.
